Bucharest
Day 1: Italy-Bucharest-Sinaia
Arrival at the airport of Bucharest, and meet your guide that will be at your disposal throughout the tour in Romania. Embark on the bus and departure to Sinaia. Dinner and overnight at hotel 4 *.
2 days: Sinaia-Bran-Brasov-Miercurea Ciuc
After breakfast, visit of Peles Castle built in the late nineteenth century neo-Gothic style typical of Bavarian castles. Departure for the visit of the Bran Castle, known as "Dracula's Castle" and tour of the historic center of the medieval city of Brasov with the Black Church and the first Romanian school. Lunch on route in a typical restaurant. Continue towards Miercurea Ciuc. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Miercurea Ciuc 3 *.
Day 3: Miercurea Ciuc-Gorge Bicaz-Gura Humorului
After breakfast, departure for Gura Humorului through the gorges of Bicaz and the Red Lake following one of the most picturesque route of Romania. Lunch at restaurant in Central Piatra Neamt. In the afternoon visit the monastery Agapia. Dinner and overnight at hotel 4 * in Gura Humorului.
Day 4: Monasteries of Bucovina – Gura Humorului
After breakfast departure for visits to the monasteries. Visit the monastery Voronet and Sucevita famous for their beautiful outside frescoes. Stop to Marginea, village known for the archaeological finds of black pottery from the Bronze Age, now reproduced by hand in a local laboratory. Lunch in the restaurant Popasul Sucevita. In the afternoon visit the monastery Moldova. In the evening dinner and overnight in Gura Humorului hotel 4 *.
5 days: Gura Humorului-Bistrita-Tg.Mures
After breakfast departure for Bistrita through the Borgo Pass and visiting the beautiful medieval city Bistrita. Lunch at restaurant Coroana de Aur. In the afternoon continue to Tg.Mures. Visit of the town renowned for its beautiful squares surrounded by buildings of the Secession, among which the most impressive is the Prefecture and the Palace of Cultura. Dinner and overnight at hotel 3 * in Tg.Mures.
Day 6: Tg.Mures-Sighisoara-Sibiu
After breakfast, departure to Sighisoara - the hometown of the famous Vlad the Impaler known as Dracula. Visit of the best-preserved medieval town in Romania with the Clock Tower (XIIIsec) and its Cathedral. Departure for Biertan, a village famous for its fortified church built by the Saxons during the fifteenth century. Lunch in the restaurant Biertan. Continue to Sibiu. Panoramic tour of the medieval Transylvanian town where you can admire the towers of defense, Big and Little squares and the Evangelical Church. Overnight in Sibiu at hotel 3 *. Traditional dinner at inhabitants from the village of Sibiel.
Day 7: Sibiu-Bucharest
After breakfast, departure for Bucharest, nicknamed "The Paris of the East", passing through the Carpathians and along the beautiful valley of the river Olt. Visit to the monastery Cozia. Lunch at the restaurant on route. Arriving in Bucharest, tour of the capital including: the Palace of Parliament, the Village Museum, the old town with the ruins of the "Curtea Domneasca", the Revolution Square, the "Patriarchy "(spiritual center of the Romanian Orthodox Church). Overnight at 3 * hotel or similar in Bucharest. Dinner with folklore show (drinks included) at a restaurant in Bucharest.
Day 8: Bucharest - Otopeni Airport - ITALY
Breakfast. Visit to the Parliament Palace, the former House of the People of Ceausescu. Free time and departure for the airport. End of our services.
