DAY 1: Budapest - Oradea - Baia Mare (400 km approx)
Enter Romania at Oradea, meeting with our guide who will accompany the group throughout the tour. Visit of Oradea, a city that has a stylish appearance due to its Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture. Lunch at the restaurant and continue to Baia Mare, the capital of the Maramures region famous for the best preserved traditions and hospitality of the people. Accommodation in hotel 3 *. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: Baia Mare - Borsa - Gura Humorului (ca 225 km)
Breakfast at hotel and departure for Sapanza, one of the most beautiful villages which became famous for the original Merry Cemetery. In this area the villages are built of wood (the stone is rarely used) and the costumes worn by the villagers are among the richest and most beautiful of all Romania. Stop for lunch in a restaurant in Sighetu Marmatiei. In the afternoon visit the wooden churches of Barsana, Rosalvea and Leudo. Continue to Gura Humorului through the Carpathian Mountains. Accommodation in 4 * hotel in Gura Humorului. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: Gura Humorului - Monasteries Bukovina - Bistritza (approx 250 km)
Breakfast and departure for the Monasteries of Bucovina, Unesco heritage. We will visit the monastery of Voronet, true jewel of Bucovina, built in 1488 by Prince Stephen the Great, the monastery of Moldova of 1532 famous throughout the world for its beautiful frescoes. Lunch in a farmhouse. In the afternoon visit the Monastery of Sucevita. Continue towards the city of Bistritza. Dinner and overnight in hotel 3 *.
DAY 4: Bistriza - Targu Mures - Sighisoara - Brasov (250 km approx)
After breakfast departure to Targu Mures, bilingual town (Romanian-Hungarian), former seat of the Diet of Transylvania. Continue to Sighisoara - one of the most charming medieval town in Romania. Visit the Citadel and next to the towers, the square, the birthplace of the prince Vlad Dracula . Lunch and departure to Brasov important crossroads of trade with Western Europe in the Middle Ages. Dinner and overnight htl. 4 *
DAY 5: Brasov - Sibiu (150 km a.c.)
In the morning tour of old center with the Black Church and St. Nicholas, the fortifications built by the Saxons between 14th -17th centuries to defend against the incursions of Turks and Tartars. Continue with the visit of Bran Castle, one of the most picturesque medieval castles in Romania, the legendary home of Dracula. Lunch in restaurant. Departure to Sibiu, European Cultural Capital in 2007, town rich in vestiges of its Saxon past.

DAY 6: Sibiu - Alba Iulia - Timisoara (300 km approx)
Continue towards the village of Sibiel and visit the Museum of icons painted on glass. Traditional lunch in a local farmhouse. Continue to Alba Iulia and visit the citadel designed by the Italian Morando Visconti in style Vaubain. Late afternoon arrival in Timisoara, the city where started the 1989 anticommunist revolution. Dinner and overnight stay hotel 4 * in Timisoara.
DAY 7: Timisoara - Hungary (km 100 a.c.)
Breakfast at hotel and departure for the return to Hungary.
